W. Kefron McCaw, Psy.D., is a psychometrist and registered psychological assistant under the supervision of Joanne Hamilton, Ph.D., ABPP. Dr. McCaw is currently recruiting for a study to further investigate the relationship between sleep disturbances and cognitive decline, in hopes of improving early detection of serious cognitive decline. He is also examining the effectiveness of a computer program to help distinguish between neurocognitive disorders. Dr. McCaw earned his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Diego, California. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California in Santa Barbara. He has received clinical training at Advanced Neurobehavioral Health of Southern California, San Diego State University Counseling and Psychological Services, the Catholic Charities Center for Counseling, and the Union of Pan Asian Communities (UPAC) Positive Solutions Program. Dr. McCaw has experience providing both short-term and long-term psychotherapy. He has treated clients of various ages and backgrounds with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, stress management, and relationship concerns.
