Dr. Eastvold was an Assistant Professor at the University of Utah, where she maintained a broad clinical practice in the Neurology Department, seeing individuals with a range of neurologic disorders, e.g., neurodegenerative diseases (dementia, movement disorders), traumatic brain injury/concussion, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, stroke, brain tumor/cancer, as well as psychiatric disorders. Dr. Eastvold also served as the independent neuropsychological consultant to the Salt
Lake Real professional soccer team, assisting with concussion care and return-to-play decision-making. She has been active in providing lectures and contributing to education on concussion. Dr. Eastvold is particularly interested in the long-term effects of repeated brain injury and chronic traumatic encephalopathy. Dr. Eastvold joined Advanced Neurobehavioral Health of Southern California in 2017 where she continues to provide neuropsychological assessments to individuals with a broad array of neurologic or neurodegenerative disease or those with concerns of neurocognitive or functional decline. She also provides individual therapy to those who have developed non-epileptic seizures. Dr. Eastvold is passionate about helping people maximize their functioning and overall wellbeing. Dr. Eastvold also provides independent medical exams, worker’s compensation and forensic evaluations, both civil and criminal. She has extensive experience working with criminal offenders.
