    Dr. Stavro conducts neuropsychological evaluations in adults presenting with a variety of neurological conditions including dementia, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injury (TBI), multiple sclerosis, seizures, and other conditions that may impact cognitive, behavioral, and emotional functioning. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology in 2007 from Michigan State University, with a specialization in neuropsychology. She completed a predoctoral internship and two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the UCLA Semel Institute and Resnick Neuropsychiatric Institute, where she served as Chief Fellow of the Medical Psychology Assessment Center.

    She has worked at Advanced Neurobehavioral Health since 2016. From 2009 to 2015 she was a staff neuropsychologist at the LifeBridge Health Brain & Spine Institute in Baltimore, MD, and was involved in training and supervision of predoctoral externs. She has published and presented peer-reviewed research on executive functioning and adult attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and co-authored a book chapter on workplace accommodations for individuals with mild cognitive impairments. Dr. Stavro is sensitive to the challenges involved in coping with changes in cognitive skills, and provides a thorough assessment with feedback to assist patients and their families in maximizing functional outcomes.
