Dr. Lisa Moran earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Ohio State University and trained in both pediatric psychology and neuropsychology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She completed a 1-year internship and 2-year post-doctoral fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). There, she worked closely with the UCLA Steve Tisch BrainSPORT program. Through the program, Dr. Moran honed and refined her skills in concussion evaluation and management, and continued her research on traumatic brain injury.

Dr. Moran has evaluated children and young adults with a wide variety of disorders, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, learning difficulties, prematurity/low birth weight, Tourette’s syndrome, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and brain tumors. She is particularly invested in better characterizing the long-term behavioral and social difficulties that occur among youth with neurobehavioral disorders and using her therapeutic background to recommend the best treatments.
