Holly Hasler, PhD
Dr. Holly Hasler earned her doctorate in clinical psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology from the San Diego State University/University of California San Diego Joint Doctoral Program. She completed a clinical internship in pediatric psychology and neuropsychology at the Texas Child Study Center/Dell Children’s Medical Center. She then completed a post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Dr. Hasler aims to use evidenced-based assessments to provide guidance on why a child, adolescent, or young adult may be struggling. In particular, her focus is to understand the effect of a neurodevelopmental process, medical condition, or medical treatment on a person’s thinking, behavior, and emotions. Evaluations focus on the individual’s pattern of strengths as well as needs or vulnerabilities and the impact on their daily life. Her goal is to help individuals and families understand these patterns. She also uses assessment results to provide targeted recommendations and suggest possible interventions.
Dr. Hasler has experience in the evaluation of infants, children, and young adults with a wide variety of developmental and acquired conditions. These conditions include preterm birth/low birth weight, genetic disorders, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, brain tumors, hematological disorders, leukemia, as well as learning disorders, ADHD, and intellectual disability.
